Computer Parts

A computer system can be divided roughly into three components:
· the computer itself (the hardware), which is a complex set of wires and electronic equipment which can obey simple commands,
· the programs (or software), which are the commands that the computer has to obey, and
· the documents (or files) which are the electronic equivalent of pieces of paper on which the programs will write.
