Apart from being a great help in allowing people to do the work faster computers can also be sources of problems, both for the users and for the users' work.

The human body is not designed to do repetitive tasks for extended periods of time. The computer on the other hand often requires repetitive tasks such as typing, moving a mouse forwards and backwards in a restricted area, and sitting with the body and the neck in a fixed position.

A different problem occurs in the safety of the information used on the computer. A single computer can often be prone to viruses. A computer connected to a network can also be prone to hacking.
