Printing

Most people prefer to read from paper instead of the screen. For this reason computers can be connected to a special device called the 'printer' which can, normally, print on paper a complete document which may or may not fit within the computer's screen.

Most applications have a print command (found by selecting with the mouse the 'File' menu). Every time the print command is issued a separate copy of the document will be printed.

There are many different types of printers with many different uses. In addition a printer may be directly connected to the user's computer, or it can be in a different room, connected through the network.
