3. According to three senses

 

In this model,there are the following categories:
  • Auditory
    They prefer to perceive information by listening, They have difficulties with written instructions, and generally with reading and writing. They are sophisticated speakers and may specialise in subjects like law or politics.
    How to learn:
    • To memorize and assimilate the information, read the written information out loud.
    • To take notes, and read, use tapes.
    • To perceive information, take an interview or participate in discussions.

  • Visual
    They prefer to perceive information by seeing. They have a strong sense of color, but they have problem with the spoken instructions. They have trouble following the lectures and that is why they will take notes even if they have printed course notes on the desk. They are effective in written communication and symbol manipulation.
    How to learn:
    • To reinforce learning use graphics, films, slides, illustrations, charts, notes, and flashcards.
    • To organize the notes, use color code.
    • For notetaking use flow charts and diagrams.
    • To memorize facts or words just visualize them
    • To review write everything down.

  • Kinesthetic
    They learn effectively effectively through touch, movement, and space. They also learn skills from imitation and practice. It is difficult for them to stay still during a learning procedure that doesn't include physical activity.
    How to learn:
    • Experimental learning by making models, doing lab work, and role play.
    • Frequent breaks in study periods.
    • Use of computer to reinforce learning through a sense of touch.
    • Memorize facts while walking or exercising.
    • Write facts to be learned several times.
